What better way to put something back
into the sport of judo than by becoming a coach?
The British Judo Association recognises
various levels of coaching award:
- Preliminary Club Coach
- Club Coach
- Senior Club Coach
To become a judo coach at any of these
levels, a player must:
- Have achieved a minimum required judo
grade;
- Have a sound knowledge of judo
techniques;
- Hold an appropriate first aid
certificate;
- Be assessed delivering practical
coaching sessions;
- Demonstrate referee skills by a mixture
of practical and written tests.
