6.00pm

We appreciate help from parents to put the judo mats out before the session starts.  If you want to lend a hand please arrive between 6.00pm and 6.15pm.  The very important tuck shop and tea bar are also set up, usually staffed by parents.

Players and parents start turning up to book in.  This is a good opportunity to catch up on all the latest information about competitions, gradings, and other events.

6.30pm

The session for the Under 8s gets underway.  The children normally begin with some gentle warm-up exercises including jogging round the mat, some simple gym exercises and stretching, followed by routines based on simple judo techniques.

7:30pm

The Under 8s session finishes and the Juniors take to the mat.

8:30pm

The Juniors finish at around 8:30pm and are replaced by the Senior group.  A few of the older Juniors may remain on the mat to help them make the transition to a full-time place in the Senior group.

9:45pm

The Senior session normally draws to a close around 9:45pm.  Everyone usually stays behind to help clear everything away at the end of the evening.
