Hollesley Judo Club's website was first launched in January 2002 and rapidly grew into an extensive online resource for the club and its players. The website came to be highly regarded more widely for the wealth of information it contained, including detailed player records, a large judo links database, and much other judo-related content not readily available anywhere else.
Maintaining this complicated site became progressively more time-consuming. In autumn 2007 the website was rewritten around an open source content management system and relaunched with many new features available only to members of the judo club.
Maintaining the site is now largely a collaborative effort of a group of parents who provide much of the new content and carry out many of the routine admin tasks.
